In addition to the application, you will also need to provide supporting documents such as a valid passport, proof of financial support, and additional documents specific to the type of visa you are applying for.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate that they meet the qualifications for a temporary resident visa. The assignment of a special event code to this event does not give any advantage to the applicant in terms of a successful visa outcome. Invite Delegates To Canada For An Event Or Meeting

Letter Of Invitation For Business Visitors To Canada
A letter of invitation for business visitors to Canada is a letter written by a Canadian company or individual inviting a foreign business associate to visit Canada for business purposes. The letter should include the following information:
- Purpose of the visit (e.g., attending a trade show, meeting with clients, etc.);
- Dates of the visit;
- Name and contact information of the person being invited;
- The name and contact information of the person writing the letter;
- Confirmation that the person being invited will have a place to stay and that all expenses will be covered during their stay;

How to bring business guests to Canada
To bring business guests to Canada, the individual(s) will need to obtain a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) if they are from a visa-exempt country.
The individual(s) will also need to provide documentation such as a letter of invitation from the Canadian company, proof of financial support, and proof of the purpose of their visit.
It is also recommended that the individual(s) have a valid passport and any other required travel documents. Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA)
As of November 10, 2016, individuals who are visa-exempt and wish to travel by air or through Canada must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions to this requirement include U.S. citizens, Canadian citizens, dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents.
