     If early bird deadline has been missed, authors can option for the regular registration process
  • Listener Registration - US$500
     Individuals interested in attending the conference to expand their knowledge and network can register as listeners.

Call for Papers Details

Submission Details

  1. Full papers and abstracts are invited to submit
  2. All submissions must be original work, not previously published elsewhere, and not currently submitted to any other conference or journal.
  3. GCA uses double-blind peer review for all our conferences.
  4. APA style must be followed throughout the manuscript.
  5. Full papers must be between 4 and 10 pages long (including abstract, figures, tables, and references).
  6. Required Font: Times New Roman with size 10.
  7. Please submit your paper to the Submission Form below.
  8. Once a paper is accepted, please complete the author registration at Registration.
  9. If you are interested to participate as Listener, please complete the Listener Registration at Registration.
  10. Author papers can take up to 14 business days to be reviewed by our team.

Dr. Shameem Ahmed
Associate Professor, Western Washington University, USA

Dr. Shameem Ahmed is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Western Washington University (WWU). He co-founded WWU’s Neurodiversity Center and established the NEAT (Next Generation Effective Affective Technology) research lab in 2016, alongside Dr. Moushumi Sharmin. NEAT is an interdisciplinary group focused on designing technology for neurodiverse individuals through Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) approaches. The lab has graduated 59 students, including neurodiverse individuals now working at top organizations like Microsoft, Amazon, and Boeing. Currently, Dr. Ahmed co-directs the NEAT lab, guiding research on using AI, wearables, and mobile technology to understand and address challenges faced by neurodiverse individuals. His work has been published in leading computer science conferences such as ACM SIGCHI, ACM CSCW, and ACM ASSETS. Dr. Ahmed earned his B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), followed by two M.S. degrees in Math and Computer Science from Marquette University and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He completed his Ph.D. in Information Science at UIUC under the guidance of Professor Kate Williams. He joined WWU as an Assistant Professor in 2015.


Dr. Moushumi Sharmin
Associate Professor, Western Washington University, USA

Dr. Moushumi Sharmin is an Associate Professor and Graduate Student Advisor in the Computer Science Department at WWU, USA. She received a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), an MS in MSCS from Marquette University, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before joining Western in 2015, she served as a research assistant professor at the University of Memphis. Dr. Moushumi’s research centers on developing computing technologies to address behavioral and mental health conditions, including autism and stress management. Her work is strongly oriented towards accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion (ADEI), particularly in supporting neurodivergent individuals. In 2016, she co-founded the NEAT Research Lab, which focuses on designing technology solutions specifically suited to neurodivergent students at Western. Her current projects include investigating accessibility issues in academic content and utilizing generative AI to create neurodivergent-accessible materials. She also explores the development of autism research, creating connections between the needs of autistic individuals and existing technological solutions. Dr. Moushumi has mentored 11 graduate students, with eight co-authoring 16 manuscripts published in top ACM and IEEE conferences. Her mentees have received several outstanding research awards. Beyond research, she is actively engaged in advancing ADEI and accessibility issues, serving on the CSE ADEI committee, presenting at the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL), and contributing to the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
