Conference Invitation Letter for Canada Visa

GCA issues official conference invitation letters after confirmed registration and payment. The letter includes participant name, passport details, and event information, and can be used as supporting documentation for a Canada visitor visa (TRV) application. Visa approval is decided only by IRCC — GCA does not guarantee visa outcomes.

Supporting documentation for Canada TRV and business visitor applications when attending a Global Conference Alliance event in Canada.

Using your letter for a Canada visa

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) may ask for a letter of invitation when you apply for a temporary resident visa to attend a conference. Your GCA letter includes the conference title, dates, location, and your registration details.

A letter of invitation does not guarantee visa approval. You must still meet all IRCC eligibility requirements and submit a complete application.

What your GCA letter includes

  • Participant name and passport details
  • Conference title, venue, and event dates
  • Official organizer verification and signature
  • Online verification at verification.globalconference.ca
  • Official invitation letter copy sent to the respective embassy

Apply early

IRCC processing times vary by country. We recommend applying at least 12 weeks before your planned travel date. See our Canada visa guide for IRCC links and application steps.
